It is for freedom that Christ set you free
Hey Flatirons,
It is for freedom that Christ set you free. Let that sink in. Jesus didn’t come to make you a religious rule follower. He came to set you free.
Everyone has a story, a journey. I don’t know what kind of mess you’ve been through. I don’t know what’s been done to you or what you’ve done. But I know this: God’s not done with you. Not even close.
Christ has set you free, and your freedom story is what God wants to use to bring freedom to others.
This isn’t about getting your act together or checking spiritual boxes. It’s about remembering what’s true. About God. About you. About the kind of life you were made for. A life of purpose. Peace. Courage. A life marked by freedom.
Flatirons is a place where the lost, the tired, the addicted, the angry, and the ashamed find healing, hope, and a second chance. So let’s link arms and move toward that kind of life. Not to prove anything. But because you were made to be free. And when free people live like it, everything starts to change.

What is Be Free?
What are we doing?
We are planting freedom outposts.
Not buildings and not empires.
These are rescue stations. Places where people encounter the real Jesus and walk free—spiritually, relationally, personally. This is war against addiction, isolation, identity confusion, broken marriages, and financial chains. We’re raising up leaders, launching churches, and pushing back darkness until every captive has the chance to be free.
Why are we doing it?
Freedom isn’t optional. It’s the mission.
Galatians 5:1 says it plain: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.”
Far too many people are stuck. Trapped by sin, shame, and lies they didn’t even choose. Jesus came to set captives free (Luke 4:18–19). That mission didn’t end with Him, it continues through us. People need more than sermons. They need spiritual battle plans.
Real healing. Real purpose. Real freedom.
We are declaring war
on the things that enslave people
Flatirons
is more than a typical Sunday morning church
It is a mission base
- We don’t simply gather -
We train, equip, and send
We don’t just build churches
we break chains
- We don’t just teach -
We fight
for the oppressed
Why now?
BECAUSE the clock is ticking.
There are more slaves today than any time in history—through trafficking, addiction, debt, and despair. Culture is wrongly redefining everything—identity, marriage, truth—and the next generation is starving for something real.
The front range isn’t post-Christian,
It’s pre-Christian.
Most have never truly met Jesus.
If we don’t move now, someone else will define freedom. And it won’t be Jesus.
What will be true once we’ve done it?
Every person on the front range will live within 20 minutes of a freedom outpost.
Addicts, skeptics, and the broken will walk free, with a mission in their chest.
Every campus will launch new leaders, new churches, and new Kingdom ground.
Flatirons won’t be known for buildings – but for bold, gritty, grace-filled people who break chains and rebuild families.
Hell will lose ground. And heaven will gain it.
What will it take?
A shift in mindset
This isn’t about bigger churches but stronger outposts where people experience transformation.
Radical generosity
Not just financial, but people willing to move, lead and sacrifice comfort for the sake of the mission.
Leaders who are pioneers, not settlers
Every campus, every leader, must have a vision to send and expand, not just stay.
A relentless commitment to freedom
This means we must prioritize spiritual formation, rescue and healing, discipleship, and mission.
A deep trust in God’s provision
This vision is bigger than us. But if God calls us to it, He will provide for it.
This is not about keeping the church alive
It’s about setting people free. And freedom is always worth fighting for.
- The bottom line -
We don’t just talk about Jesus
We go where He went
to the lost, the broken, & the captive
For Freedom
Christ has set us FREe
And We Will Not Stop
Until Every captive hears the call to be free
Everyone has
a part in this
Be Free is a call to grow spiritually. It’s about being awakened to God’s heart for generosity, perspective, significance, position, and action. It’s about stepping out in faith and watching courage and conviction grow as we follow God’s lead.
